We wake up with a view of the gambia river where, with any luck, we will see crocodiles and
be able to spot hippos.
After breakfast departure for Niokolo Koba reserve for a full-day safari
with a ranger.
The fauna and flora is beautiful,we spot bushbucks,warthogs,antelopes,monkeys and with a
Bit of luck also lions.
Picnic in get park.
Overnight Wassadou where we will drive towards Kedougou after breakfast.
Pit stop in Mako where we visit the gold miners followed by lunch.
Kédougou is the region of the Bassari,Peul and Bedik peoples.
They live in harmony with nature and the environment.
Overnight at Relais De Bedik or very basic at a traditional tribe.
After breakfast departure towards Ibel for a visit to the old marble stone quarry.
We climb Iwol.(about 1 hour)where we visit a Bedik village.
From here, we have a great view.
Lunch in Bandafassi at Chez Leontine and return to Kédougou for our overnight stay.
After breakfast, we leave for Dindéfello to visit the waterfalls.
We walk through the beautiful forests to the waterfalls where we can take a refreshing dip in the cold water.It is a beautiful oasis.
We return to Kédougou for another visit to the market and our last overnight stay.
After breakfast, we drive back via Tambacounda back to Kaolack and Saly.
